Executive Summary
Biznet represents a vast network of computer professionals. However, we pursue these interests for one reason only - to provide our customers with outstanding websites.
Outstanding websites are cost effective, no fuss to our clients and of the highest quality. Our websites are not obsessed with trying to do everything possible in one website. We take you one step at a time and design an approach that suits your needs and requirements of the Internet. We use websites that facilitate the flow of information and help companies adapt to the Internet culture. We use Internet marketing to leverage traditional marketing campaigns and promote sales for companies either through their traditional channels or via the Internet.
Our Philosophy
We started biznet when we realised technology was over-taking customer service. We could see that people were so obsessed with using technology that they were forgetting to make life easier in the process. So we spent 12 months looking into Internet technologies and how they could benefit small to medium size companies. Here's what we found:
1. Selling products on the Internet IS NOT the only way to benefit from a website !! A report from the Australian Bureau of Statistics in November 1998 reported that approximately 3% of Australians use the Internet to buy products on-line. Sure this will increase, but right now it should not be the only focus of websites. Using a website to sell products is only one application.
2. Most successful businesses don't have hoards of computer experts working in their ranks. The business is good at making fishing rods, signwriting or whatever their profession is - not tapping away at a computer.
3. Businesses want "user-friendly" methods for maintaining their web site. They don't want to pay a "computer consultant" every time they want to change a word.
4. Businesses want a list of potential customers generated from the users that visit their web site.
5. Websites are useful as a tool to leverage existing marketing campaigns.
